Featuring the origin and first appearance of Thor, JIM #83 is one of the most popular and valuable early Silver Age keys, ranked as No.6 according to latest Overstreet Guide listing.

Early Silver Age Marvel Is Gold in Pedigree Comics' Recent Grand Auction!
The results are in from Pedigree Comics, Inc.'s recently completed Grand Auction. The auction began the night of Sunday, January 8th and ended the night of Wednesday, January 18th, in the separate Grand Auction section of their website. There were 468 CGC certified comic books to choose from and over 90% of the books sold (only a few items were listed with reserves).
